Hawaii Secretary of State Corporation Name Search

The Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) allows for the lookup in its database of any entity including corporations, limited liability companies (LLC’s), and partnerships. This information may be accessed to view individuals involved with the businesses, registered agent information, and any other entity details that wish to be requested. All information is public and free for viewing except for previously filed documents which may be available for a fee.

How to Search

Step 1 – Go to This WebPage and in the blank field enter the name of the corporation you would like to lookup.



Step 2 – On the next page you will be able to view all the matching results from your query. Scroll down and view the entity names and their record types, filing numbers, and status to ensure you are selecting the corporation you were seeking. Once found click on the light blue link (entity name) to be brought to the record details page.



Step 3 – On the business details page all public details about the entity become available. The following is available about the business’s trade name, cross reference name, filing number, certificate number, status (active, good standing, expired, dissolved, etc.), purpose, expiration date, incorporation date, and the registered agent’s name and address.

Name Reservation

According to Statute 414-52 an individual may reserve an entity name for a period of one-hundred and twenty (120) days by This Application, payment of $10 (payable to the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs), and sending to the the following address:
